With lots of school visits already lined up in the upcoming months Ted is getting prepared. We have been busy packing up goody bags ready to share on our local school visits. One of our Lens experts Bridget and Optician Rob Young visit local primary schools helping to educate reception classes on the importance of eye health with an interactive lesson. They have fun looking at what an eye exam is and Sydney gets an exam! They get to play some fantastic games and marvel at optical illusions. Children are never too young to get an eye examination and especially younger children will not know if they can see well, so maybe will not complain. Getting an annual eye examination is as important as regular dental check ups! It is estimated that one in five school aged children has an undetected vision problem which could restrict their ability to read, write, spell and learn.
