Contact lens all you need to know

Contact lens fitting is our speciality. Have you thought about wearing them?

We are finding with the rapid changes in technology that they are far more comfortable and can be worn for longer. At Molsom & Associates, we specialise in complicated Contact lens fitting, so that we can now fit more people successfully – for example correcting higher levels of astigmatism and reading corrections, such as varifocals.

We offer an extensive range of specialist Contact lenses from numerous manufacturers. During your Contact lens fitting the Optometrist will discuss a Contact lens to suit your requirements.

Flexible Payment Plans

Flexible plans clearly explained to suit your need. Join our Contact Lens Aftercare Plan and pay via direct debit monthly to receive;

  • Unlimited aftercare visits
  • Supply of lenses
  • Discounted solutions (where needed)
  • All costs involved in refitting of different lens designs
  • Contact lens power changes.
  • 25% discount off any complete spectacles or standard prescription sunglasses.

Your eyes must be checked on a regular basis to ensure excellent vision, comfort and continued health of your eyes. If you are a plan member, this check up is free, otherwise a charge for the professional time is made for each check-up. This check-up is essential (it is also a requirement of UK law) and we can not continue to supply contact lenses without this. This check-up ensures the contact lenses are still safe for your eyes, and that you have the best vision and comfort from your contact lenses, as you would expect from Molsom & Associates providing the highest standard of clinical care.

We have had patients ask on occasion, as I know my prescription why not just order lenses online?  As Contact lenses touch your eyes they must be the right prescription to allow you to see clearly, and the right shape to stop them damaging your eyes. This means they must be fitted by a qualified Optometrist, Contact lens optician or doctor. Here at Molsom & Associates we will then offer a full comprehensive Contact lens teach for new wears which includes how to fit the lens and remove it safely and the correct hygiene surrounding the lens prescribed.

So if you feel you are ready to try Contact lenses book your appointment  today and let us help you to make the right choice for your eyes. Call us on 01775 713366 for more information and advice on any aspect of Contact lenses.
