Donations for Kieran’s cause from Molsom & Associates patients
Molsom & Associates patient 7 year old Kieran is suffering with a Craniogioma, this is a brain tumour which wraps itself round the optic nerve and pituitary gland. He has already had two operations, leaving him taking medication daily and unable to attend school full time. His body is struggling with the stress and he has lost his peripheral vision in his left eye.
To help treat his condition the NHS have funded treatment for proton beam therapy, which is currently only available in America. This will hopefully prevent him needing regular operations to drain the cystic fluid which builds in his brain, and can carry the risk of brain damage and possible sight loss!
Although the treatment is funded by the NHS, the family have been busy trying to raise funds to keep the family together during the 2 months of treatment. A target of £10,000 has been reached thanks to every ones efforts from local charitable donations to fund raising efforts at Kieran’s school!
Our collection tin here at Molsom & Associates managed to raise £92.84 which Kieran and his family collected Tuesday 16th his Mum Karen thanked everyone.
