Sjögren’s Syndrome

Sjögren’s syndrome is an autoimmune condition which affect parts of the body containing fluid such as tears and saliva, and so you can suffer from dry eyes, mouth and skin, and also muscle and joint pain.

There is no cure, but treatments can help, e.g. eye drops, sprays and lozenges for the mouth, medicines to produce artificial tears and saliva.  See a GP for an actual diagnosis, as there are many different conditions with similar symptoms.
